What Types Of Patio Covers Do We Offer?

We offer a wide variety of patio covers form pergolas to pavilions and gazebos. Each of these outdoor structures can also be covered with different materials from roofing materials such as shingles and metal to screens and greenery. The type of cover we use is ultimately the one that fits your uniques tastes and needs.

Do I Need A Building Permit?

Building permits may be required depending on the scope of the work being performed. Larger more extensive jobs do require permits and in those cases, we will obtain them for you on an as needed basis. If you live in an HOA, you may need permission from the HOA president or board to make sure that you are not violating any rules that must be followed by the HOA. These bylaws are designed to keep everyones property values up, maintain a beautiful neighborhood, and protect your nerighbors.

What Is The Most Popular Patio Cover?

Pergolas are the most popular type of patio cover. They are wide open and do not obstruct any views of anything. The open slats on top offer a nice amount of both shade and sunlight that is great for plants and other greenery that need sunlight to grow but not so much that it kills the plants. They are also easy to add a cover to that will protect from rain or add more shade, making them the most popular and in demand outdoor living structure.

Does The Lumber Get Stained Before Installation?

Weather permitting, yes. It is best to stain all wood before installing to ensure 100% coverage of the wood. When staining or sealing wood, you want it to be completely covered and sealed before installation to prevent water damage and extend the life of your structure.

Do You Do Interior Work?

While we do interior remodeling work, we prefer to keep our focus outdoors.

Do You Offer A Warranty?

All of our projects come with a 1 year warranty. Naturally there are some exceptions such as wood stain and paint that we cannot warranty.

Do You Offer Financing?

At this time we do not have financing options but are working on partnerships with several brokers to offer financing in the future.

What Methods Of Payment Do You Accept?

While cash is king, we do accept credit card payments and personal checks.

What Areas Do You Service?

We serve the entire Tulsa metro area including Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Glenpool, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Owasso, and more. Any are in a 50 mile radius of Tulsa is our service area.

Do You Carry Insurance?

A&C does carry general liabilty insurance as well as workers comp insurance for our staff.

How Long Have You Been In Business?

A&C Home Improvements and A&C Outdoor Living have been in business since 2020. However our staff have been in the outdoor living and construction industries for decades. We bring over 20 years of experience to every job we do.
